The Swiss Cancer Research foundation promotes talent. It awards international research fellowships to motivated and talented early-career clinicians, enabling the opportunity to gain research experience abroad, receive training and for further education.
As a prospective scientist with an excellent track record, you have the opportunity to apply for a fellowship at one of our two submission rounds. The GAP (Grant Application Portal) offers guidance on submitting an application and provides information on the conditions for submission. Only applications submitted online via the portal will be considered.
Funding scheme at a glance
- Online application submission by way of the Grant Application Portal
- Submission deadlines: twice a year - 31 January and 31 July 12:00 noon (Central European Time)
- The applicant must have a medical degree with previous experience in cancer research or treatment
- Fellowships are awarded for a maximum period of two years
- Two support letters and proof of sponsorship from an eligible host organization are required
